Bio-Security & Propagation Health
Pinnacle Genetics is committed to responsible cannabis propagation and takes reasonable, preventative measures to reduce the risk of transmitting known cannabis diseases and pests through seeds or other propagation materials. While no propagation method can guarantee the complete absence of plant pathogens, the following procedures are observed to mitigate risk from known cannabis diseases including Hop Latent Viroid (HpLvd), Cannabis Cryptic Virus, and other common cannabis diseases and pests.
Genetic Sourcing & Selection
Parent genetics are sourced from known, controlled, and intentionally selected plant stock.
Breeding selections prioritize plant vigor, stability, and absence of observable disease symptoms.
Genetics exhibiting abnormal growth patterns or reduced vigor are excluded from propagation.
Propagation & Handling Controls
Seeds are produced and handled separately from active cultivation environments.
Propagation activities utilize clean, dedicated tools and containers.
Plant material is visually inspected during early development.
Any material displaying signs of disease or pests is removed and destroyed.
Sanitation & Bio-Security Practices
Tools and surfaces are routinely cleaned and sanitized.
Hand sanitation is practiced during handling.
Access to propagation areas is limited to trained personnel.
Outside plant material is not introduced into propagation environments.
Ongoing visual monitoring is conducted for known disease indicators.
Preventative actions are taken promptly if abnormalities are observed
Pest & Disease Monitoring
Seeds are visually inspected prior to packaging.
Stored in clean, dry, controlled conditions.
Lots are tracked internally for accountability and traceability
Seed Storage & Distribution
Labels may include available information regarding lineage, feminized/unfeminized status, autoflower status, and probable THC:CBD ratios when known. Strain names are not intended to be misleading.
